If you’re like me, this glorious spring weather draws you outdoors. And once you are outside, you tend to plunge into activities that you might not have done in a while. I spent a couple of hours crouched on my knees, hunched over a mound of unruly bulbs gone wild in their efforts to take over the flower bed. Even on a day after rain and shoving a shovel beneath their roots, dislodging them was hard work. My hips are cranky. My shoulders are sore. And my upper back takes to screaming occasionally.
How about you? Maybe you’re walking farther, jogging faster, running harder. Or you’ve taken to biking longer on the trail or hiking Pine Mountain. Whatever your spring activities are, your muscles may be complaining like mine.
Join me in April as we clear some ground and work the kinks out of those cranky hips. We’ll plant seeds that will open and blossom into stronger shoulders. We’ll grow, learn, stretch our spine like a flower reaching for sunshine. And we’ll relax and enjoy the fruit that comes.
I hope to see you in class!
