This 3 hour workshop introduces the basics of Yamuna® Body Rolling, a practical, powerful system that can help heal, strengthen and deepen your yoga practice.
What to expect: Using balls in various locations throughout the body, YBR tones and elongates muscles, improves alignment, increases circulation, develops and maintains core strength, stimulates nerve roots and organs, increases metabolism, relaxes the nervous system, expands the lungs and deepens breathing, and increases body awareness. YBR helps heal troublesome shoulders, hips, knees and backs.
Workshop topics include: Leg bones and muscles, Hip joints and flexors, Spine, Rib Cage, Shoulder joint and muscles, abdominals
What to Wear: Yoga/Pilates exercise wear is appropriate, tighter fitting pants and tops, shorts fine, no t-shirts.
Cost: $60 per person. Yamuna Balls will be available for purchase at the workshop.
Kandy Duke, Ph.D. is a Certified YBR® Practitioner and specialist in related bodywork fields including CranioSacral Therapy & Healing Touch. She is a Yoga (E-RYT) and Pilates Instructor as well as a Health Coach and Personal Trainer.
